【摘要】:Defectsinfilmarenotacceptabletotheend-userasthereisareductioninthefitness-for-use,inmanyapplications.Thisdocumentisintendedtobeaguidetoassistusersintheinspectionandobservationofdefects.Thisguideisapplicableinalaboratoryenvironmentasaqualitycontrolorasaresearchtool.Itisalsoappropriateforuseinanycommercialprocessusedtoproducefilmincludingcalenderingandsolventcasting.Thisguideisalsosuitableforuseasanevaluationorscreeningtoolformaterialsintendedtobeusedinotherprocesseswheredefectsofthisnaturearealsocritical,suchasfiberspinningandnonwovens.Theindividualusermustagreeupontherelationshipbetweenthecriteriaandacceptanceforfitness-for-useandtheobserveddefects,asitvariesbypolymerandapplication.Thisisattainedbythecollectionofdataoveratime-periodtoestablishacceptablecontrollimits.1.1Thisguideisintendedtoprovidesuggestedapproachesandcriteriafortheobservationofdefectsinvarioustypesofplasticfilm,bymeansofanopticalscanningsystem.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
