【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthetestingofhydraulicoils,aircraftturbineenginelubricants,andotherhighlyrefinedoilstodeterminetheirresistancetooxidationandcorrosiondegradationandtheirtendencytocorrodevariousmetals.Petroleumandsyntheticfluidsmaybeevaluatedusingmoistordryairwithorwithoutmetaltestspecimens.Thistestmethodconsistsofastandardtestprocedure,analternativeProcedure1,andanalternativeProcedure2.Astherearevariationspossiblewiththistestmethod,itwillbeuptotheparticularspecificationtoestablishtheconditionsrequired.Inadditiontotemperature,thevariablestospecifyifotherthanthoseofthestandardprocedureoralternativeProcedure1or2are:testtime,airflowandhumidity,samplefrequency,testfluidquantity,andmetalspecimen(s).ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
