【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforflammabilityoffabricsandfabricassembliesforuseintheconstructionoftextilestructuressuchasmarquees,largetents,temporarybuildings,awningsandothertextilestructuresutilizinglargeareasofaflexibletextilemembraneotherthanair-supportedstructures,whentestedinaccordancewithtest2B(bottomedgeignition)ofBS5438:1989.Liningsanddrapesarefrequentlyusedinthesestructures,looseorattachedtotheouterfabric.Inthelattercase,thecompositefabricassemblyistestedtothisBritishStandard.NOTE.Wheretheliningordrapeisseparatefromtheouterfabric,thestandardforcurtainsanddrapes,BS5867:Part2:1980maybeappropriate.Thesetextilestructuresarenormallyerectedoutdoors.Sometimestheyareerectedinunusualsituations,e.g.withinbuildings,wherecircumstancesmayarisewhereriskassessmentisdifferentandothercriteriaapply.
