【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesperformanceandsafetytests,designations,markings,dimensionsandotherrequirementsforsecondarylithiumsinglecells.Theobjectiveofthisstandardistoprovidethepurchasersofsecondarylithiumcellswithasetofcriteriawithwhichtheycanjudgetheperformanceandsafetyofvarioussecondarylithiumcellsofferedbyvariousmanufacturers.Thisstandarddefinesaminimumrequiredlevelofperformanceandsafety,andastandardizedmethodologybywhichtestingisperformedandtheresultsofthistestingreportedtotheuser.Hence,userswillbeabletoestablishtheviabilityofcommerciallyavailablecellsviathedeclaredspecificationandthusbeabletoselectthecellbestsuitedfortheirintendedapplication.Thisstandardcoverssecondarylithiumcellswitharangeofchemistries.Eachelectrochemicalcouplehasacharacteristicvoltagerangeoverwhichitreleasesitselectricalcapacity,acharacteristicnominalvoltageandacharacteristicfinalvoltageduringdischarge.Usersofsecondarylithiumcellsandbatteriesarerequestedtoconsultthemanufacturerforadvice.Fortheavoidanceofdoubt,thescopeofthisstandarddoesnotincludesecondarylithiumbatterieswhicharecoveredinIEC61960-2.
